Canine First Aid Course
This one day Canine First Aid Course is a must for anyone who cares for their dog or is responsible for someone elses. It teaches you the skills you need should you be in an emergency situation.
This course is open to anyone over 16 who has a passion for dogs.
If you are a dog owner, pet sitter, dog walker, dog trainer, behaviour consultant, kennel manager, kennel staff, college students or a rescue centre worker this course will benefit you.
The course is delivered in a fun, friendly and relaxed environment and covers the following:
• Safe scene assessment
• Primary AND Secondary Care
• Canine CPR and rescue breathing
• Spinal injury management
• Control of serious bleeding
• Shock management
• Splinting for broken limbs
• Choking management
• Poisoning
• Bandaging
• Common Ailments and Injuries
• Question and answer session
The Canine First Aid Course is E.F.R (Emergency First Response) approved and has been devised in line with current protocols and guidelines.
On completion of the course, you will be issued with an internationally recognised certificate valid for two years. (All good first aid courses should be refreshed every two years to keep up with protocol changes and keep your skills up to date)
Course Price: £90.00.All Course material is provided, including: your student manual (on CD) , barrier and bandage packs for use during the course.
The course takes place in Wandsworth, SW London on either a Saturday or Sunday.
